Spring awakening

Oops !!

Well here we are half way through February and I am now only just visiting my blog for 2012 !!

Suppose it's fair to say life has been busy the past few months but I am now beginning to think of what Lissi can offer this year. Many ideas that I need to put into practice indeed, but i'm playing the 'easier said than done' card for now.... as i'm sure you know if you work all week yourself !

We had a busy run up to the festive period which was great, and for anyone after a bargain pop over to our Etsy Store and check out our sale section that has carried over form our January sale.

Really loving that the nights are starting to get shorter, longer days are so much more inspiring don't you think ?

I'm gonna be a more regular blogger again and will keep you posted on up and coming new products and events, I promise !

Sorry i've been rather quiet the past few months, life has been a little busy and the DIY is never ending!!!

But alas, I have sourced some new cotton jersey to dabble the dyes with to brighten up your 2011 autumn wardrobes ! The photographs show the first two produced between the filling, sanding and painting of walls of the last couple of weeks. You can find them in our Etsy Shop right now.

I'm going to do a couple of experimental pieces over the next week or so so keep an eye out for these appearing too, each one will be one of a kind, perfect gifts for loved ones or an indulgent treat for yourself !

A little bit goes a long way...

I think i have finally exhausted my batch of logwood !!

I had managed to dye lots of yarn an array of colours last summer with one batch, then turned to the silk and cotton with another to see what colours would appear.

The purples, pinks and greens have been very popular so i've ordered some more logwood to carry on....
