These were some of my photographic styling images taken to promote my products for my university final major project. They were taken back in May and we had glorious sunshine, which was extremely lucky! The collection was inspired by the use of chemical dyes within the fashion industry and how we can reduce this by using safer options which would not only benefit the people who work with the dyes but the environment that the waste is deposited onto.
Many starting points and ideas for the natural dyeing techniques were sourced from a book called Eco Colour by Austrailian textile artist India Flint providing great insight to the natural resources around us.
